Hans "Pete" Harris, 74 of Indianapolis passed away peacefully on Friday, September 6, 2024. He was born to the late Anneliese Harris.

Pete loved the outdoors; he was an avid hunter and wildlife enthusiast. Pete enjoyed attending special needs camps to teach children about wildlife conservation and helping them interact with wildlife. He loved all sports but was a big IU basketball fan.

Pete leaves behind his wife Rosa Harris; three sons David Harris (Keith Dillahay), Eric (Kelsey) Harris and Austin Harris and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother.

Visitation will be Friday, September 20, 2024 from Noon until the time for family and friends share at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Family and Friends share will begin at 2:30 at the funeral home. Pete will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
