Harlen G. McGrew, 74, of Noblesville passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Harlen was born to the late Harold and Mary Jane McGrew in IL. He graduated from Indiana State University with a Master's Degree in Music. Harlen was the band director for many years at Whiteland High School. Harlen was also an elder at the Green Valley Church of Christ. Harlen is preceded by his wife Darlene; two brothers, Earl and Rex. Survivors include, three sons, Jeff (Lacy), Greg (Cheryl), Dan (Tammy); three siblings, Herbert, Laura, and Thelma; and six grandchildren, Jacqueline, Tyler, Evan, Grant, Nina, and Jenna. Family and friends will gather at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Saturday, May 15, from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. A service will be held on Sunday, May 16 at 2:00 P.M. at the Green Valley Church of Christ in Noblesville. A private burial will follow.
