Obituary

Harley M. Morrow, 85, died peacefully at home, Saturday, May 1, 2010. He was born March 30, 1925 in Monticello, Kentucky. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Cathryn (Long) Morrow; two daughters, Sharon Walker (George) of Carmel, In., Janice Watson (George) of Atlanta, Ga. and one son Jeff Morrow (Ellen) of Greenwood, In. He was preceded in death by a son Harley Stephen Morrow in 1997. Harley was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was a WWII Navy veteran serving in the Pacific theater on the battleship USS California. He retired from Chance Brothers Marble and Tile Company in Indianapolis in 1988. He was a life long member of the New Whiteland Christian Church serving as deacon and elder. Harley enjoyed fishing, gardening and baseball. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 2, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road, Greenwood, In. The family will have a private funeral service on Wednesday, May 5.
