Obituary

Harold E. Feyerabend, 85, formerly of Bargersville, died Friday, January 25, 2008 at Halifax Hospital in Port Orange, FL. He was born on September 11, 1922 in Jerseyville, IL, to John and Milre Davis Feyerabend. He had graduated from the Jerseyville High School in IL, and then served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He was previously employed as a Cattle buyer for the Speicher Co. of Indianapolis. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #669-F, American Legion Post #125, Elks #1557 and the VA. His hobbies included Quail and Pheasant hunting, Fishing, bowling, working in his vegetable garden and training bird dogs. Survivors include his wife: Joyce Moree Feyerabend, three sons and their wives: Douglass (Sandy), Steven (Lori), John (Kandi) Feyerabend, one brother: Neal Feyerabend, two sisters: Barbara Cartwright, Virginia Egelhoff, seven grandchildren and eight great grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: John and Robert and three sisters: Jeraldine, Elva and Belva. Funeral services will be conducted at 1: 00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Saturday, February 2, 2008. Visitation will be on Saturday at 12:00 until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor''s choice.
