Harold F. Green's Obituary
Harold F. Green, 84, of Greenwood, passed away September 11, 2012. The son of Forest Green and Violet Goff Wedincamp, Harold was born January 14, 1928 in Appalachia, Virginia.
After serving in the Merchant Marines, U.S. Army and U.S. Navy, he received a Masters Degree in Education from Indiana University and retired from IPS, having taught at schools 21 and 78. Harold was a member of the American Legion and the Indiana State Teachers Association.
Funeral services 12:00 noon, September 15, 2012 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Harold is survived by his wife, Glenda L. Ashley Green of Greenwood; son, Harold K. (Dana) Green; daughters, Pamela Z. (Bobby) Hall and Joyce Reid; a half brother and a half sister; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association - 50 East 91st Street #100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
