Harriett D. Zike, age 100, of Nashville, went to meet her Lord and Savior on December 1, 2016. She was born August 22, 1916 in Tower, IN to Jesse and Katherine (Tower) Dean. Harriett was a graduate of Leavenworth High School with the Class of 1933. She was a homemaker and she worked in Personnel at Sears, Roebuck and Co. for 17 years, retiring in 1982. She was Charter Member of Christ United Methodist Church in Indianapolis and was also a member of New Life Community Church in Nashville. She was a very modern woman who loved to play the organ, paint and make jewelry. She loved spending time with her family and was very involved in her family''s activities. She is very loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Harriett married Carl M. Zike on November 17, 1940 and he preceded her in death on May 24, 2000. She is survived by her son, Tom (Stacy) Zike of Dallas, TX; daughters, Jayne (Michael) Nichols of Nashville, and Vivian (Bill) Morton of St. Augustine, FL; grandchildren, Chasen (Megan), and Ryan Zike of Dallas, TX, Robby Clevenger of Nashville, Mark (Kimberly) Clevenger of Avon, Joe (Tracy) Clevenger of Nineveh, Magan Morton and Kimberly (Tim) Pollock of St. Augustine, FL; 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Shannon Zike and brothers, Lloyd and Jennings Dean; sister, Faye Boldt.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at New Life Community Church, 1450 N State Rd 135, Nashville, IN 47448 with Pastor Timothy Conboy officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 3:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
