Harry Wallace McLaren, age 75 of Indianapolis, IN and formerly of McPherson, KS passed away Monday Feb. 8. He was born Feb. 14, 1934 in Udall, KS to Frank and Lelia "Belle" Wallace McLaren. He was a Computer Programmer for the U.S. Military 15 years before retiring. Harry also retired from DFAS in 2003. He was a member of Fortville #207 and belongs to various other Masonic bodies as well as American Legion Post #0176, V.F.W. #2715, and I.O.O.F#640 in Topeka, KS. He is survived by his 3 sons David (Diane) King of Jeffersonville, MO; Frank (Sue) King, of Lenexa, KS, and Harry W. "Buddy" McLaren, Jr. (Margaret) of Franklin, IN; 1 daughter Linda Remillard of Cheney, KS; 1 brother Frank McLaren, Jr. preceded in death, 1 sister Betty Bailey of McPherson, KS; 9 grandchildren; and Marilyn Earles Companion of 12 years. A Celebration of Service will be Thursday, Feb. 18 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood at 11:00 A.M. Gathering will be 9:30 A.M. to service time on the same day, with a Masonic Service at 10:30.
