Harry F. Putnam, 93, of Greenwood, IN died Tuesday July 5, 2011 at Greenwood Health and Living Center in Greenwood, IN. He was born on December 6, 1917 the son of Harry F. and Jeanette Putnam. He married Maxine R. Putnam who preceded him in death.
He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rites. He was a coach and a past president of Greenwood Little League. He enjoyed bowling and participated in local bowling leagues. He was an avid Colts, St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs fan. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their activities.
Surviving relatives include his daughter, Sandie Barton (Jim) of Greenwood, IN; three grandchildren, Scott Barton (Jill) of Greenwood, IN; Jennifer Barton of Greenville, SC; Matt Barton of Greenwood, IN; two great-grand children, Andrew and Sydney Barton of Greenwood, IN.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday July 11, 2011 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 S. State Road 135 Greenwood, IN. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
