Hazel Henley, 89, of Rogersville, TN and formerly of Greenwood, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Wellmont Hawkins County Memorial Hospital. Born July 12, 1919 in Westmoreland, TN, she was the daughter to Earnest E. and Oma (Caldwell) Meador. Hazel was married in Indianapolis on December 13, 1934 to Harrell Henley.
Survivors include one son, Harrell (Donna) Henley and one daughter, Barbara Carmack. Seven Grandchildren, Norm Wright of Rogersville, TN, Kathy Ballard of Sevierville, TN, Trish Moore of Bull Gap, TN, Debbie Rew of Alabama, Duke (Jane) Bilyeu of Indianapolis, Troy (Brenda) Muse of Florida and Ron Henley of Bargersville. Also, 19 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Sandra Daniels and son-in-law, Ronald Carmack.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 23, 2009 with visitation from 11:00am to 2:00pm Saturday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana 46143. Burial will follow services in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorials to Friendship Baptist Church in Greenwood.
