Hazel Mabry, age 90, of Trafalgar, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 with her family at her side. She was born December 23, 1926 in Center Point, KY to Guy and Rosie (Blythe) Milam. Hazel had worked several years at Hygrade Meat Packing in Indianapolis until they closed. She then worked as a Beautician at Blocks at Southern Plaza and at L.S. Ayres in Greenwood. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Trafalgar. Hazel loved to work outside in her garden, growing flowers and taking care of her yard also.

Hazel married Willard R. Mabry, aka "W.R." on October 23, 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by her daughter, Willa Dene Pardue; grandson Darren R. (Erin) Pardue; 3 great grandchildren, 3 step-great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Charlie (Cathy) Milam of Greenwood; sister, Joyce Wilson of Oklahoma City, OK; sister-in-law, Frances Milam of Lakeland, FL; several nieces and nephews. Hazel was also preceded in death by her son, Jerry L. Mabry; grandson, Richard Lee Pardue, Jr.; sisters, Gracie Mae Anderson and Beulah Whittle; brothers, Billie and Demous Milam.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 30, 2107 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with Pastor Jerome Baker officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor''s choice.
