Hazel C. Gibson, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away May 27, 2014. The daughter of Ollie and Lillian Hanna Perry, Hazel was born November 27, 1923 in Sumner County, Tennessee.

She retired as an assembly line supervisor with RCA after 40 years of service. She loved spending time with her granddaughters, great-grandchildren and great-great grandsons and especially enjoyed watching them play in sports. She also enjoyed listening to country music.

Hazel is survived by her husband, Charles D. Gibson of Indianapolis; son, Wm. Roger (Sharman) Hill of Indianapolis; daughter, Charlotte (Andy) Hartley of Greenwood; granddaughters, Mindy (Mark) Blattner and Amanda (Jon) Gill; five great grandchildren and two great-great grandsons. Besides her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her first husband, William L. Hill; brothers, Thomas Perry, Jr. and Garland Perry; sister, Gladys Dean Wilkins.

Pastor Ken Jones will conduct funeral services 12:00 p.m. May 31, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
