Obituary

Hazel Mae (Webb) Curtis, 81, passed away in her home in Indianapolis November 2, 2020.  She was born August 4, 1939 at Fort Harrison in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Ralph E. and Mary E. (Bragdon) Webb I.

Hazel was born into an Army family and was able to travel the world with her family.  After she graduated she went on to work as a machinist.  Hazel was a big fan of playing cards, euchre, pinochle, poker, anything where she could gather with friends.  She was most proud of being a gold member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary.  Whenever there needed to be a family gathering for birthdays or holidays, Hazel's was the place to be, and she loved having everyone and cooking for all..  Hazel loved her family fiercely, especially the grandkids.  She will be dearly missed.

Hazel will be fondly remembered by her children, Steve (Laurie) Cobian, Mary (Chris) Stafford, Cobi (Sheila) Cobian, and Tobi Cobian; step daughter, Vickie New; brother, Ralph E. (Carolyn) Webb; sister, Judy Parker; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Curtis.

Family will receive friends Sunday, November 8 from 1:00pm - 2:30pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN  46143, with service to follow at 2:30pm.
