Helen Bernice Coffman Guy, 82, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away May 11, 2017. The daughter of Rollie Coffman and Hazel Freeman Coffman Higgins, Helen was born October 1, 1934 in Martinsville, Indiana.

A homemaker, Helen enjoyed sewing, coloring, playing and taking walks.

Helen is survived by sons, Kenneth Guy and Steven Guy, both of Indianapolis; daughter, Debbie Layne of Barnhart, Texas, Cheryl Eastman of Avon, Rita Guy of Lakeland, Florida, Carolyn (David) Jones of Morgantown and Rhonda Powell of Martinsville; brothers, Larry Coffman of Kentucky, Gary Coffman of Lena, Indiana, Donnie Coffman of Greencastle; sisters, Shirley Coffman of Greencastle, Mary Trusdale of Terre Haute and Mae Coffman of Greenwood; 21 grandchildren, 50 plus great-grandchildren and 33 plus great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Guy; brothers, William Coffman, Gene Coffman, Jack Coffman and Jim Coffman and sisters, Carol Coffman and Marsha Coffman.

No visitation or services are scheduled at this time. Burial of her cremated remains will take place at Cloverdale Cemetery at a later date.
