Helen Louise Goode, 88, of Whiteland In. went home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2011. Helen was born in Nineveh, In., on December 10, 1923, to the late Oscar W. and Lola Clark. Helen worked for RCA for more than 35 years, retiring in 1984. She later was employed with TJ Maxx for eight years. Helen was a member of the Whiteland Baptist Church. Helen enjoyed gardening, traveling and family get togethers. Survived by her daughter and son in law of Carolyn and Lynn Howell, Indianapolis; Her brother Earl Clark, Franklin. Her grandson of Brian Swartz, Louisiana. And one Great-granddaughter Ashley Swartz , So. Carolina. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Rosemary Witt , Dorothy Phillibaum, , and Leona Everling and a grandson William Douglas Swartz. Her funeral service will be Friday, December 16, 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, In. Family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of service. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
