Helen Myers, age 87, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Franklin United Methodist Community. She was born August 28, 1925 in Indianapolis to John and Cecilia (Drescek) Matelich. Helen was a graduate of Washington High School with the class of 1943. She loved to cook, and was most happy in her garden. Helen married Clarence Myers on August 29, 1948 in Indianapolis and he preceded her in death in 2005.

Helen is survived by her son, Robert "Jeff" Myers and his wife, Kim; her grandson, Dylan Myers; and nieces, Margaret Ann "Peggy" Lohman, Carol Divine and Elaine Wethington. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Raymond and sisters, Dorothy Scales and Olga Wethington.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood.
