Helen Lois (Potts) Criswell of Indianapolis passed away on the evening of Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at The Altenheim Community.  She was 87 years old.  Helen was born on April 5, 1933 in Jackson County, Indiana, a daughter of late Richard C. Potts and Zita (Taylor) Potts.

Helen attended Crothersville HIgh School in southern Indiana and was a member of the graduating class of 1951.  She was employed by RCA for 11 years and Naval Avionics for 30 years.  She enjoyed caring for her pets over the years, some dogs, but a lot of different cats and kittens.

Helen is survived by her son, Larry (Kathy) Sebastian; grandson Larry (Kristi) Sebastian, Jr.; granddaughter, Dorene Sebatian; sister, Thelma Winter; brother, Richard Potts; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Potts; and granddaughter, Sara Ann Sebatian Vandever.

Visitation will be from 11:00am - 12:00pm Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.  Funeral service will be at 12:00pm.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
