Mr. Henry Lee Schnier, Indianapolis, passed away on the morning of Saturday, December 19, 2020. He was 82. Henry was born February 28, 1938 in Indianapolis a son of the late Herman Jacob and Edna Margaret (Price) Schnier.

Henry was a graduate of Southport High School and for most of his life had worked as a steamfitter, working out of the Steamfitters Union Local 440. Henry was a member of Greenwood Lodge No. 514, F&AM as well as the Southport Baptist Church. Henry enjoyed spending his leisure time hunting, fishing, boating and playing baseball and golf. He deeply loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Henry is survived by his loving wife of almost 61 years, Donna Jean (Douglas) Schnier; his daughter, Linda (Jeff) Finley; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his brother, Richard (Pat) Schnier; a sister, Rosie (Kenny) Brooks and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by a daughter, Tina Stevens as well as three infant children; his sister, Carolyn Sue Richards and an infant brother.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
