Hugh Ann Conley, Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023. She was 77 years old. Hugh Ann was born in LaFollette, TN to her parents Alonzo and Verlie Cooper. Hugh Ann married her husband, Jack Conley, and they shared over 40 years of marriage together until Jack passed away on September 30, 2008.
Hugh Ann worked as a saleswoman for General Furniture and Bedding and retired after over 30 years of service. Hugh Ann enjoyed "going to work" or playing BINGO at the Concord Center and the Salvation Army. She was a master of southern cooking and enjoyed spending time with her family as often as she could. Hugh Ann's feisty personality will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.
Hugh Ann is survived by her children, Jackie (Dwayne) Hicks, Kevin (Kathleen) Conley; her grandchildren, Eleanor, Elizabeth, Ellis, Cameron, Kenny, Brad, Erica, Jessica, Kristin, Victoria, Brandon, and Christian; her many great grandchildren; her brother, Robbie Cooper.
Hugh Ann is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Jeff Conley.
A visitation for Hugh Ann will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 3:00 pm.
