ILA Mae Mize, age 83 of Greenwood, died on June 8, 2009 at University Heights Health and Living Community. Born September 1, 1925 in Bent, KY, she was the daughter of Henry and Maudie (Harper) Bullock. Ila was married to Louie Mize who preceded her in death in 1986. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Greenwood. Ila loved doing church work and enjoyed her grandkids and doing quilt work. Ila is survived by one son, Ronald Mize; two daughters, Rhonda (William) Choate and Patty (Arthur) Shadaon; one sister, Betty Summers; three grandchildren,William Timothy Smith, Anthony Dewayne Smith and Melissa McAdam and six great-grandchildren, Travis Michael Smith, Chelsea Kimber Smith, Lorli Smith, Maggie Smith, Trey McAdam and Ryan Conner Smith. Services are schedule for 1:00pm Thursday, June 11th, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Burial will follow services in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorials can be made the Bible Fund or the Building the Kingdom Fund at Calvary Baptist Church in Greenwood.
