Ilse Hartenfels Feist, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away December 8, 2015. The daughter of Hans and Elizabeth Hartmann Hartenfels, Ilse was born August 28, 1926 in Barmen, Germany.

She was an accounts receivable clerk with Indiana National Bank for 25 years, retiring in 1983. Ilse enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and being with her family.

Ilse leaves behind her son, Andre P. (Rebecca) Feist of Indianapolis; daughters, Cornelia E. (Jeff) Kirkham of Indianapolis and Monica G. Wellman of Lima, Ohio; grandchildren, Chris, Susan (Dave), Melissa (Tim), Katie (Tommy), Erich (Syanda), Natalie, Ian, Laurin (Tommy) and Brandon (Katie); great-grandchildren, Ashley, Maddie, Chloe, Eden, Micah, Corbin, Parker, MaKenzie, Neveah, Jackson, Rayven, Lane, Myah and Maddox; great-great-grandson, Noah. Besides her parents, Ilse was preceded in death by her husband, Werner E. Feist on August 18, 2011, whom she married on January 8, 1954 in Wuppertal, Germany and a brother, Hans Hartenfels.
