Inda Louise Percifield, 87, of Carmel, passed away February 21, 2014. The daughter of Rome and Lora B. Ault Burton, Inda was born March 29, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Inda was a member of Zionsville Christian Church. A secretary, she retired from Ben Davis High School after 20 years of service. Previously, she worked for Quinlan, Keene, Peck & McShay Ad Agency. Inda served as president of the PTA at IPS School #18 in the early 1960's. She was an avid reader.

Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Percifield of Carmel, whom she married on July 14, 1945; daughter, Fraun (Max) Califar of Carmel; son, Robert S. (Nannette) Percifield of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Inda was preceded in death by a brother, John Burton and sisters, Roma Clement, Elizabeth Foulouis and Hannah Ellen Burton.

Rev. Mark Condrey will conduct a memorial service 1:00 p.m. March 8, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 12:00 noon to time of service. Entombment will be in Ben Franklin Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
