Ishu Selim Khan, 81, passed away on Sunday May 31, 2015. Ishu was born on December 18, 1933 in Baghdad, Iraq. Ishu was preceded in death by his parents Mary and Selim Khan Eshoo. Ishu is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Patty (Covington) Khan; children, Kevin (Lori), Kayleen, and Colin (Amy) Khan. Ishu was a beloved grandfather to six grandchildren, Jessica (Travis) Pierle, Joshua, Justin, Brandon, Jenna and Julia Khan; two great-grandchildren; Kenneth and Jamel Jones; several nieces and nephews and many other family and friends around the world; sisters Emily, Joan, Clara, and Alice.

Ishu came to the United States in 1961 and proudly became a naturalized citizen in August of 1964. Ishu was well known for his kindness and playful sense of humor and was loved and admired by all who knew him. Ishu worked as a draftsman for many years retiring in 1995. He loved to cook for his family, play volleyball, watch old movies and take long walks.

Family and friends may call from 9:30am to 11:30am on Saturday, June 6, 2015, with funeral service immediately following in Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
