Iva Dean Compton, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 27, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born December 22, 1932, in Pulaski County, Kentucky, to Lawrence and Alpha Chumbley. Iva enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles, gardening, and crafting.

She is survived by a sister, five children, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family, friends, and others whose lives Iva touched are invited to the Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143,  on Friday October 4 ^th from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.  Funeral Services will be held Friday October 4 ^{th a} t 2:00 PM in the funeral home, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn cemetery.
