Jack Edwards, age 83, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 with his family at his side. He was born July 7, 1930 in Indianapolis to Earl and Lavora Edwards.

Jack graduated from Emmerich Manual High School in Indianapolis and was a U. S. Navy veteran. Jack worked as a service repairman for Wills Furniture and Appliance. Jack was an avid fisherman, and he enjoyed football and baseball. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He married the former Lois Ponseler and she preceded him in death in 2006. Jack is survived by his son, Jeff Edwards, of Camby; daughters, Rhonda (Aaron) Shipley of Indianapolis and Marcia (Lyle) Miller of Greenwood; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Delores Barr.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ben Franklin Mausoleum of Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Entombment will follow.
