Jack C. Harrison, 84, passed away on October 25, 2011. He was born on April 2, 1927 in Indianapolis, IN to Harley and Wilma Harrison.
Jack was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Harrison, three children, Wesley Harrison (Beth), Janet Harrison, and Stephen Harrison (Mary), two grandchildren, Amy McComas (Kyle) and Matthew Harrison, and one great-grandchild, Luke McComas.
Jack graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1945. He served in the U.S. Army after high school. Following his military service, he graduated from Indiana Business College. He began working at Allison Transmissions in 1948, retiring in 1988.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 28 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 State Rd.135 South Greenwood. Family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral service will be held 10:00am Saturday, October 29, also at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
