Jack R. Ridgeway, Sr., 86, of Indianapolis passed away Sunday, June 27.  He was born November 26, 1934 in Maryland to the late Charles and Ruth Ridgeway.

Jack grew up in Maryland and stayed there until the mid 1970's when he moved his family to Indianapolis.  Here he found a career as a repairman with Superior Tea and Coffee and would travel around the area fixing coffee machines.  Jack was a classic car enthusiast and won many awards from World of Wheels for his 1974 Chevy truck.  He was always quick with a joke and you just never knew what he might say next.  When he was younger he kept a meticulous lawn and spent many hours boating on Lake Lemon.  Jack was quite a presence in this world and he will be missed by many.

Jack is survived by his children, Arleen Wilcox, Jack (Lisa) Ridgeway, Jr., Scott Ridgeway, and Todd (Angela) Ridgeway; ten grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; and sister Dolores.

Family will receive friends from 5:00pm - 7:00pm Thursday, July 1 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana  46143, with service to follow at 7:00pm.
