Jack L. Stanley, 88, of  Greenwood, Indiana passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022. He was born on April 11th, 1934 to George M. and Irene (Fewell) Stanley of Greenwood, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joanne C. (Newerth) Stanley and his eldest son Kyle W. Stanley and youngest son Kurt M. Stanley

He is survived by his sister Joy (Stanley) Palmer, daughter Nicole (Stanley) Mitchell (Kevin) his grandson Colten S. Mitchell (Brittany) his granddaughter Jacquelyn N. Mitchell, grandson Tristan R. J. Stanley, and great-grandchildren Jane, George, Mary, and Jack Mitchell, and beloved nieces and nephews.

Jack graduated from Greenwood  High School and attended Rose Hulman later was employed by Allison Gas Turbine- GM from 1954-1992. He was also a veteran of the US Army. Jack enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing golf, cooking, and painting.

The services will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral home, 1977 S. State Rd 135 Greenwood, Indiana 46143 on Friday, July 22nd, 2022. Visitation is from 1pm to 3 pm and the service immediately follows.
