Jacob W. Heringer Sr., 77, of Mooresville, IN passed away December 16, 2013, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Indiana. Born September 27, 1936 in California, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Charles and Louise (McLaughlin) Heringer.

Jacob worked as a machine operator in the fiberglass manufacturing industry for over thirty years and was last employed by Knauf Manufacturing in Shelbyville, Indiana.

Survivors are his wife, Evelyn Haddix, whom he married on August 17, 1963 in Newport, Kentucky;; son, Jacob (Coetta) Heringer Jr.; two brothers, Joe and Alfred Heringer; two sisters, Mary Gosney and Ruth Bowling; granddaughter, Tessa Ray Kindred, and great-granddaughter, Iris Kindred. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Charles and Chris Heringer, and sister, Frances Wilson.

Funeral Services will be Friday, December 20, 2013, 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South S.R. 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Visitation, Thursday from 4 - 8 PM, at the funeral home.
