Jacqueline Y. Lucas, 82 of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on June 22, 2018. Jacqueline was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 28, 1935 to Alfon and Marguerite Staub. Jacqueline was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed her ipad games, scrabble club and card club. She loved dogs, especially her Bella and Charlie. She was a strong woman and loved her family very much. She will be greatly missed.

Jacqueline is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Lucas in 2011; son, Michael Chimento in 2005 and sister, Dolores Chimento.

She is survived by her daughters, Patti Brackett, Pam (Michael) Taney and Christi Chimento; sister, Beverly Bless; grandchildren, Meghan Brackett, Melissa Brackett, Joshua Brackett, Dustin Blankenship, Joe (Ana) Chimento, Brittani (Daniel) Barker and Aaron (Cara) Chimento; eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm, also in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that monetary donations be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
