Mrs. Jacqueline Ann "Jackie" Russell, Mooresville, passed away on the early morning of Tuesday, November 23, 2021. She was 90. Jackie was born October 9, 1931 in Findlay, Ohio, a daughter of the late Leah Pressnell.

Jackie had been employed as a unit secretary at St. Francis Hospital for several years. She began her association with the hospital in 1967.

She and her late husband, Weaver Russell, enjoyed dancing particularly the Jitterbug as well as line dancing. She spent much of her leisure time in ceramics and reading. She also enjoyed Country music and watching parades, especially Fourth of July and patriotic parades. She always looked forward to spending winters in Florida. Jackie deeply loved and cared for her family and cherished the time she could spend with them.

Jackie is survived by her children, Jackie (Mel) Lester and Bob (Linda) Fox; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Jim (Donna) King; her sister, Madelyn (Lynn) O'Connell as well as a sister-in-law, Joann Shea and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband of 58 years, Weaver Eugene Russell; her children, James Thomas, David Fox and Barb Russell as well as her siblings, George and Sandy.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, with Pastor Danny Thomas officiating. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Burial will immediately follow.
