James Charles Bakemeier, Jr, age 59, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015. James was born March 13, 1956 in Indianapolis to James C. and Shirley A. (Cash) Bakemeier. He was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis with the Class of 1974. He was an Electrician by trade and a very skilled maintenance man who could work on or fix just about anything. James was an avid NASCAR and Indianapolis Colts fan. He played guitar and he loved to play pool. He was loved and adored by all who knew him and he will be sorely missed.

James is survived by his sons, Roger J. (fiance'' Debra Tevlin) Bakemeier of Indianapolis and Dalton J. (Whitney) Reese, of Brownsville, KY; brother, Allen Bakemeier, of Indianapolis; sisters, Deborah (Ira) Flynn and Brenda Testerman, both of Indianapolis and Robbi Bakemeier of Camby; 7 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Bakemeier.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor''s choice.
