James E. Burton, 68, of Indianapolis, died Friday, July 18, 2008. He was born on December 27, 1939 to Earnest Cleo and Laura Holding Burton. He had been employed as a security guard for Adesa. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and watching westerns on television, especially John Wayne movies. Survivors include his wife: Peggy Rhude Burton, four children: Eva (Roger) Carter, James Burton Jr., Jennifer (Dugan) Tinch, David (Jennifer) Burton, four brothers: Robert, Bill , Albert, Von Burton, four sisters: Alberta Jenson, Leoda Merriman, Laura Pickering, Theresa Balwinski, ten grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Katherine and Goldie. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S.
