James C. Knight, 95, of Indianapolis, IN died Monday July 11, 2011 at Forest Creek Village Indianapolis.
He was born on August 24, 1915 the son of John William and Mary (Brown) Knight. He married Grace Melba (Nunley) Knight.
James was a member of the South Sherman Church of God. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving relatives include his loving wife of 73 years, Grace Melba Knight, two sons, James L. Knight (wife: Thelma) of Greenwood, IN; William Robert Knight (wife: Judy) of Bloomington, IN; two daughters, Mary Walden (husband: Dennis) of Indianapolis, IN; Claudell Tucker (husband: William) of Indianapolis, IN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday July 15, 2011 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Pastor Joe Ross will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
