James 'Jamie' DeMoss, 43 of Indianapolis passed away on March 4, 2018. Jamie was born in Muncie, Indiana on October 16, 1974. Jamie was a fun loving guy and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed drag racing, roller coasters, motorcycles and fast cars. Jamie enjoyed canoeing, tubing and camping. He loved going to different haunted houses. Jamie had a special fondness for Gray Brothers Strawberry pie and also his grandmothers Cheese Cake. Jamie loved his family. He will be greatly missed.

Jamie is preceded in death by his father, Larry DeMoss and brother, Larry Allen DeMoss and grandfather, Richard Potts. He is survived by his mother, Pamela McCarty, step-father, Brian McCarty and biological father, Richard Reifis; grandmother, Mary Lou Potts; fiancé, Debra Fredrick; separated wife, Cathy DeMoss; sons, Braeden DeMoss (son of Ashley McAdams) and James DeMoss Junior; daughter Hayley DeMoss (daughter of Amy Bailey); step-children, Mackinse and Katrina Toole, Destiny, Dakota and Austin Bowman; brothers, Doug (Debbie) DeMoss and Camryn McCarty; sisters, Amanda (Thomas McPeak) DeMoss and Misty DeMoss; step-grandchild, Dariyah Bowman; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, March 9, 2018 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.
