James "Jim" L. Raesner, 94 of Greenwood passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026. He was born to the late Clarance and Jeannette Raesner.

Jim was a member of Mt. Pleasant Christian Church where he served as a Elder. He loved golf and was an avid sports fan. He worked for the Indiana Bell Telephone Company for 36 years. Jim love to eat.

Jim is survived by his wife Shirley Raesner; three stepchildren Vicky (John) Koerner, John (Carolyn) Huter and Michael Huter; six step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren and a brother Dennis Raesner. He is proceeded in death by both parents, first wife Juanita Raesner and a grandchild Tylor Krotes(2019).

Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Jim will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
