James M. Jordan, age 81, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, August 27. He was born March 23, 1929 in Cattlesburg, KY to James B. and Florence (Dickens) Jordan. Jim was a Machinist at Link Belt for 24 years before retiring. He married Dorothy Yates and she survives along with 5 sons, James C. (Judy) and Jeff M. (Chris) Jordan, Keith M. (Cindy) Hughes, J.R. and Larry Wilson; 2 daughters, Jennifer M. (Martin) Banuelos and Brenda Goodlet; one sister, Mary Gene (Bill) Craddock; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 1 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
