Msgt., USMC retired, James Ralph King, 84, of Beech Grove, passed away May 28, 2007. He was born July 23, 1922 to Horace Cecil and Leona (Fern) King in Maxwell, IN, who have preceded him in death. James was also preceded in death by his sister Irene Swinford. He is widowed by his wife Bernice (Wright). James was a 30 year Marine veteran and also a retiree from Singer Sewing Machine of Indianapolis. James is survived by three Daughters; Sharon Albert, Donna (Marc Zender) and Bette Pflum; two Sons Ronald and John Zapf. He has 13 Grandchildren, 15 Great- Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandson; and a sister Marie Jaggers.
