Obituary

James A. Kissee, 61, of Martinsville passed away April 14, 2017. He was born December 2, 1955 in Franklin, IN to Leon S. Kissee and Tina S. (Wade) Fleener.

James had a heart of gold and would help out anyone that needed it. Lovingly known as "Big Jim" he loved to hunt and ride motorcycles and was involved with the Miracle Ride for Riley for over 20 years. Jim was talented at his work and often boasted about how proud he was of his work and pleasing his clientele. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Jim will be dearly missed by all his friends and family.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Kissee and Tina Fleener; daughter, Christina Kissee; sons, Nicholas Kissee and James Allen Kissee Jr. and brother, David Fleener.

He is survived by his loving wife of 3 ½ years, Annette Kissee; sons, Louie (Karen) Kissee, Jeremy Kissee and Travis (Whitney) Kissee; daughter, Roxie (Chad) Logsdon, Angel Miller and Lisa (Jared) Mills; step children, Brittney (Joe) Monin, Colin Rynerson and Ian Rynerson; brother, Leon Stanley Kissee Jr.; sisters, Alicia Fleener and Andrea Hutson; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and his riding family.

Burial will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11 am in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miracle Ride.
