James William Leggins, 58, of Indianpolis died July 5, 2009. James was born to John William and Dorothy Maxine Lovelace Leggins in Indianapolis on September 30, 1950. James was a carpenter with Tradesmen International. He was a member of the VFW in Indianapolis. James married Rita Hansen on June 7, 1975 and she survives. Surviving with the wife are two sons: Jimmy Leggins II and Douglas Carlton. One daughter: Tammy Allender. Mother: Dorothy M. Leggins. One sister: Nancy Allender. 11 grandchildren. Family will recieve friends from 5-8 PM Thursday, July 9. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Friday July 10 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with military graveside rites.
