James M. "Mike" Lady, age 68, of Beech Grove, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017. He was born August 8, 1948 in Indianapolis to James B. and Mildred Louise (Higgins) Lady. He was a self employed contractor for many years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 4167 of Beech Grove. He was an avid fisherman and he loved to do paint-by-numbers. He was a great father and friend and he will be missed by all who know and love him.

Mike married the love of his life, Mary K. Denham on February 12, 1966 and she survives along with their daughter, Angel Lynn (Kenny) Taylor of Indianapolis; brother, David Lady of Panama City Beach, FL; grandchildren Bryan Michael May of Beech Grove and Isabelle Kathryn Challis of Indianapolis; great grandchild, Grady May. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Ann Arteaga.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
