James L. Peace, 67 of Greenwood, IN passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, February 15, 2024. He was born to the late James and Beulah Peace.

James enjoyed watching football, playing cards and being with family. He loved donuts and cooking. He loved to smoke a good cigar. James also boxer as a young man.

James is survived by his three children Robbie Peace, James Peace, Jr. and Matthew Peace; three grandchildren; one great grandchild and five siblings Debra (Jon) Grund, Janet (Glenn) Julius, Carolyn Love, Pamela (David) Britt, Jason Peace and Charla Elliott. He is preceded in death by both parents and a sister Rochelle Peace. He will be missed by his dog Rucci.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and a short visitation will be Friday, February 23,  2024 starting at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow the services at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
