James Allen Renner, 82, of Plainfield, passed away April 2, 2015. The son of Oppie Y. and Rosa Hamlin Renner, James was born July 29, 1932 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky.

He worked as a baker and then in sanitation with Wonder Bread Bakery of 46 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Fellowship of Christ Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on televisions and watches.

James is survived by daughters, Janet M. Payne of Mooresville and Carol S. (Mark) Lohman of Indianapolis; brother, Arlis Renner of Plainfield; five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy M. Renner and brother, Wilbert R. Renner.

Funeral services 12:00 noon Monday, April 6, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to service time. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
