James Sichting, 65, of Martinsville passed away December 1, 2016. He was born August 24, 1951 in Beech Grove, IN.

James was the Past Master of the Eminence Masonic Lodge 440 and attended Poplar Grove United Methodist Church. He was an avid NASCAR and IU Basketball fan who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and attending his grandkids events.

He was preceded in death by his father, William James Sichting and step-father, Jerry Rex McDonald.

James is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Ann Lambert Sichting; mother, Joan Katharyn Hoover Sichting McDonald; daughters, Lori Ann (Tim) Pridemore, Cari Laine (Bill) Camic and Jamie Lynn (Josh) Hinshaw; brothers, William Lee (Linda) Sichting and Lloyd Kirk (Steve Betterton) Sichting; sisters, Donna Katharyn (Paul) Sichting Saylor and Shelly Sue (Charlie) Sichting Beaver; grandchildren, Nicholas James (Jacci) Pridemore, Natalie Ann (Cameron Gamble) Pridemore, Tyler William Camic, Todd James Camic, Tristan Ira Hinshaw and Ellie Lynn Hinshaw and one great grandson, Colson Cade Pridemore.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 6 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 7 at 10 am, also in the funeral home.
