James H. Sloan, 93 of Whiteland passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023. He was born to the late Marion and Maidy Sloan.

James loved to garden, hunt and fish.

He is survived by his three children Sam (Theresa) Sloan, Vicky Hall and Dwayne (Lona) Sloan; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and five brothers Wendall, Ray, Sam, Bill and Bobby a daughter in law Kathy Sloan. James is proceed in death by both parents; wife Eunice Sloan (2018); son Tony Sloan (2017); grandson Adam Hall several brothers and sisters Estella, Warner, Tilman, Violeta, Ivy, Velma, Fred, Ruthie and Charlie "Satch"

Visitation will be Monday, January 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. James will be laid to rest next to his wife Eunice Sloan at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens
