James "Jim" L. Tyree, 76 of Indianapolis, IN passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023. He was born to the late James and Alma Tyree.

Jim was an avid golfer and bowler. Jim was a Coach for the Teen Travelers Bowling Team for Greenwood High School. He was a volunteer for Southern Bowl in Greenwood.

Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years Debra Tyree; siblings Alice Jean, Rita Joan and Richard Steven (Marci); nieces and nephew Emily and Katie Tedder and Austin Tyree. He is preceded in death by both parents.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, April 14, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will be Friday following the service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ben Franklin Chapel.
