James D. Woodall, 92, of Greenwood, passed away May 4, 2015.
Born November 20, 1922 in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late James Thomas and Virginia (Cottongim) Woodall. He worked as a superintendent for Bridgeport Brass in Indianapolis, retiring after more than thirty years of service. James was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WW II, and a member of the Speedway American Legion Post # 500. He is survived by his loving wife Tina; sons, Jim Woodall, Steve Woodall, and Rick (Kathy) Woodall; five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Lee, Fred, and Paul Woodall; sisters, Margaret Todd, Nita Goff, Mary Sexton, and Goldie Parks. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South S.R. 135, Grenwood, IN 46143. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
