Jamie J. Dodson, age 47, of Indianapolis, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 11, 2014. Jamie was born May 22, 1967 in Indianapolis to Allen and Mary (Schneider) Ferguson. She was a graduate of Decatur Central High School with the Class of 1985. She also received her Dental Assistant Certification from PCI. Jamie married Robert T. Dodson on June 17, 1998 in Jamaica. Jamie loved music and spending time with her family. She loved to watch her children play sports and she will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jamie is survived by her husband, Rob; sons, Gage and Brandon; daughter, Brooke; parents, Bebe and Gerald Stinson and Allen and Vicki Ferguson; mother and father-in-law, Connie and Tom Dodson; sisters, Julie Gross and Lori Crandall; nieces, Madison and Moliann Gross, Marissa and Tatum Dodson; nephew, Corey Dodson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 15, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or the American Heart Association.
