Janet Rose Syberg, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away January 28, 2016. Born January 26, 1938 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of the late Otis F. and Eileen C. (Karch) Breuer. She graduated from Mehlville High School in Missouri in 1955. She married William Syberg on July 2, 1955 in St. Louis, he preceded her in death. Janet worked as a title clerk with National City Bank retiring in 1998. She was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, a volunteer with Community Hospital South, and a member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by two sons, Keith (Kathy) Syberg and Mark (Sara) Syberg; two daughters, Lynn (Mike) Engel and Jeanne (Eric) Lowe; a brother, Verlin Breuer; twenty four grandchildren and thirty three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband William. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to; Disabled American Veterans, or the Salvation Army.
