Janet Ann Lee went home to be with her Lord Thursday, August 26, after a long illness. She passed at home where she was lovingly cared for by her husband, Robert E. "Rod" Lee. She was born in Indianapolis on June 20, 1936 to Clifford T. and Bernice M. Malin. Jan and Rod were married June 21, 1957 and they made their home in Whiteland. She will be greatly missed by her husband and family; daughter, Tammy(Don) Houshour; son, Denny Lee; grandchildren, Tony Houshour, D.J., Darryl, and Brandon Lee, Alan Merriman, and Rachel Lawson; great grandchildren, Kaiden Lee and Whitley Thomas; sister, Carol (Jack) Johnson. Jan was a homemaker and enjoyed growing flowers and doing crafts, but most of all she loved being a Sunday School teacher to the children at Victory Baptist Church for many years. Pastor Mark Felber will conduct a graveside service on Monday, August 30 at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, with burial to follow.
