Janet I. (Oyler) Spaulding, 96 of Mooresville passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2024. She was born July 4, 1928 in Indianapolis to the late Harvey Oyler and Ruby Sullivan.

Janet met and fell in love with Buren Spaulding and the married-on January 24, 1948 (Where). He preceded her in death.

Janet was a member of United Methodist Church. Graduating from Arsenal Tech High School in 1946.Janet was a homemaker, secretary for Boone County Tractor Club, Avon Representative and an animal lover.

Janet leaves behind to cherish her memory two children Daryl (Diana) Spaulding and Carolyn (Mark) Klene; five grandchildren Kimberly (Todd) Smeyers, Kelly (Jason) Shepherd, Lora (Joe) Engleman, Ashley (Justin) Vance and James (Leigh) Spaulding and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from Noon until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ben Franklin Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM at the Ben Franklin Chapel. Janet will be laid to rest next to her husband Buren Spaulding at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
